Whites Up Close and Personal
Somewhere in the Eastern Pacific
Ocean – November 2011
Not just your average video...
William Winram and Fred Buyle teamed up again to capture on video the true nature of the Great White Sharks (Carcharodon
carcharias).
While they are not the first individuals to dive with
sharks cagelessly,
they are the first to freedive with them without the
use of any protective devices and bring back such stunning
images showing the true nature of the animals when they
are not provoked into agression.
William Winram and Fred Buyle use their breath-hold diving skills to gracefully and respectfully interact with these magnificent creatures.
It is the hope of these Watermen that footage such
as this one will turn the common misunderstanding of
sharks into interest and respect for these animals who
are paramount to our survival.
